We help Australian businesses pay for the vehicles they work with — and we treat a ute purchase as the business decision it is.
Fleet Car Buyer exists for one kind of purchase: a vehicle that earns its keep. A plumber's first ute, three vans for a new delivery contract, a rideshare driver's next sedan, a light truck for a landscaping crew, or the replacement of an ageing fleet in waves. Business owners make these decisions under time pressure, usually with a dealer's finance offer on the desk and a job waiting. We slow the finance part down just enough to get it right, then move quickly.
Who we help
Sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts that need vehicles for business use — tradies and builders, couriers and delivery operators, rideshare drivers, farmers, removalists, mobile service businesses and any operator running more than one vehicle. If the vehicle is for personal use, we're not the right people.
How we work
We start with the vehicle and the job it does, not with a product. How many kilometres will it do? How long will you keep it? Is it new, used, from a dealer, a private seller or an auction? Do you want it on your books, or would you rather lease it? Those answers decide whether a chattel mortgage, a finance lease or hire purchase makes more sense, whether a balloon helps or hurts, and which lenders are likely to say yes. For the tax side — GST credits, depreciation, fringe benefits — we'll always suggest you check with your accountant.
Where property security would suit better, or where the business needs working capital alongside the vehicles, we can talk about that too: property-secured business loans range from $20,000 to $5,000,000, and unsecured cash-flow options are available for trading businesses.
